10+ Can’t-Miss Fourth of July Celebration Ideas

It’s almost the Fourth of July!  Can you believe it?  This year is half-way over already…wow!   Has 2017 just flown by so far or what?  Or maybe it’s just me.

Anyway, every Holiday comes with so many fun ideas.  Here are some of my favorites for the Fourth of July!  Check them out and let me know which ones are your favorites!

Can't-Miss Fourth of July Celebration Ideas

I love the Fourth of July.  It’s an all-American Holiday, but my favorite part of it is that it’s in the summer!  BBQ-ing and fireworks, fruit salad, potato salad, family time, swimming and splashing in the pool or river, parades…such an amazing way to spend a day!

Here are some of my favorite ideas for celebrating this Fourth of July in style:

This adorable re-purposed firework craft from Across the Boulevard:

How about all of these amazing wreaths from Duct Tape and Denim?

These Red Velvet Brownie Star Stacks from I Should be Mopping the Floor are my featured pick from last week’s Funtastic Friday Link up.  So cute, and so tasty!

And how about this Vintage-Style Fireworks Decor?

I’m particularly fond of muchies, and this Patriotic Snack Mix should hit the spot:

Of course, if you’re going to watch the Fireworks show (and who isn’t?), you’ll need to be prepared with these awesome Fireworks Show Fun Bags from Dukes and Duchesses!

Nothing says summer like a delicious fruit salad, and this Summer Fruit Salad recipe from Home Cooking Memories is perfect for a light Fourth of July Treat:

Now, if your kids are involved in any kind of club or youth group, chances are they’ll be in the local Fourth of July Parade.  Here is a great tutorial on how to decorate bikes and wagons for the Patriotic Parade!

Cake Pops or Fireworks Truffles, here’s how to make some bite-sized dynamite treats!

Strawberries are probably my favorite summer fruit.  These adorable Patriotic Strawberries are just too yummy looking, plus Sew Historically shows how to make all-natural colored sugar!

And there you have it!  My ten favorite ideas from this summer’s link-ups.  However, I had such a hard time choosing, because there are so many great ideas out there.  Here are a few of the runners-up:

Ghirardelli Brownie Ice Cream Sandwiches from Dad, What’s for Dinner?

Red, White, and Blueberry Cake from the Monday Box

Fun 4th of July Party Printables from Playdates to Parties

Spiral Sparkler Flag Cookies from the Monday Box
