We’ve Arrived! And Funtastic Friday Link Party 115

Hey there!  If you’ve been following my blog or social media at all lately, you know that my hubby, our cats, and I just moved.  It’s a little bit of a crazy story, but the short version is that we’ve been talking about a move for the last year.  We weren’t sure about when, or where, but we were feeling that it was time to move on.

At the beginning of the year, we started talking about me leaving my job at the Children’s Museum and writing full time.  We also started talking about whether to put our house on the market or not and decided it wasn’t time for that yet.  We still had quite a few projects we needed to finish before selling.

Not three weeks later, we found out some of our good friends were looking for a place to rent and had been for a few months.  We decided on the spot to offer to let them rent our place if they were interested.  They were!  So here we are, one month later, starting a new adventure together.  In just a week, my hubby had landed a new job and found us a place to move into in Boise, Idaho.

And here we are!  After 3 weeks of living in separate states while he started his new job and I finished work at mine, we’re finally settling in with our fat cats and I’m back to blogging.  Stay tuned for a couple of new posts coming soon, including a round-up of my favorite organizing tips!  Since we moved into a smaller house, I’m realizing how much we need to down-size!

Here is Yoda, attempting to help me settle back into blogging.  He’s a great help, as you can tell!
